Fairy tales were originally invented to educate children about morals and principles in way that could be slightly more fun for them...It's nothing to do with religion.

I sincerely hope that you become a christian one day and be transformed yourself and you'll see what I'm talking about. Besides you'll have a glorious eternal life too.

That's all a matter of interpretation though...honestly...those basic morals and principles have nothing to do with Christianity (at least as far as I'm concerned). But I see your point. Thank you.

Jesus saves people and in BATB, Belle saved the Beast. She judges by character, not by looks. She helps the Beast change his character form bad to good, like Jesus and christians. She rejects Gaston because he was too egoistic and selfish and unwilling to change. She willingly refused to run away and instead went back to the castle to care for and love the beast just as jesus left heaven to care for us and save us on earth. I can go on if you like or maybe you've had enough "Jesus" already.

Of course there are even some ahiests who also love classic Disney. I'm just saying that there are some people who would ridicule these movies because our society is becoming more "rational".

Fairy tales weren't "invented" by Christians. Much of Christianity is actually "borrowed" from other religions. I'm not an atheist by the way.I'm sure some Disney movies probably contain Christian themes or whatever, but if they do, I don't see them. I was pointing out the fact that not everyone who loves Classic Disney is Christian. Where on earth in Beauty and the Beast is there a Christian theme?

Fairy tale stories have FAR more christian themes than you realize! Fairy tales were probably invented by christians in order to teach the basic themes of christianity to children. Athiests don't believe in magic and the supernatural, and fairy tales came mainly from the then heavily christianized Europe centuries ago.
