Anything can feel 'hard' at first..... it is because we are challenging ourselves to move outside of our perceived capabilities. I now see the asanas (the yoga exercises) as a meditation.... use your breath... work within your limits. you are not competing against anyone.... it is very rewarding.

im going to start yoda friday any advice ? they say its hard the first couple of months .

Hi, do the pilates! I used to do a lot of dance and movement work... and then, over the years gained a lot of weight. I've been doing yoga and recently went back to pilates. It's been WONDERFUL.... pilates gives you a sense of elongation and abdominal control.... great posture, you'll feel better!good luck!

try the circles with your knee slightly bent. you want to carve the cicle not with your foot, but using your femer bone to trace the circles. it will take some time to do the circle with you left fully extended.
